I am writing to you as a local community resident(s) of Allington that oppose your development on Land East of Hermitage Lane This is in response to your recent mailing requesting my views on the proposals set by the 12th August 2014. My response is as follows:- (select the paragraphs that you wish to include in your submission by ticking the boxes)
*
Yes, please see my responses below
I am in full agreement with MB Council and T&M Council that your development proposals (13/1749, 13/03147) are refused.
*
Yes I am
Your proposed development schemes 2 & 3 recently posted to us for comment by the 12th August remain unacceptable
*
Yes I agree
This area of woodland, orchards and crops fields are of vast importance to our community and the environment as a whole and is the only amenity / walking area south of the A20
*
Yes, I agree it should remain untouched
Building a road through an Ancient Woodland is a totally ludicrous idea that I totally object to
*
Yes I agree
Scheme 2 could become acceptable in the future if the following clauses were added to the application (tick all that apply to you)
*
No Access to Howard Drive, Period
A minimum 30 meter buffer zone around Ancient Woodland and other TPO areas on the site
The Orchard remains untouched and any school provision is moved out of Allington
Community Centre provision is not required. Enhance existing ACA in Castle Road
Hermitage Lane upgrade capacity provision to cope with increased traffic
Provide local amenities on site (Drs, dentists, shops etc)
Include the provision of a Country Park in the plan design on the land to the west of the site
Other (see comments below)
I strongly advise you to forget any thoughts of scheme 3 entirely
*
Yes I agree
Include a public footpath to Barming Railway Station taking a direct route from the site
*
Yes I agree
Access onto Hermitage Lane should be via roundabout incorporating the Quarry Entrance
*
Yes I agree
I am particularly concerned about the impact on the environment and ECO system that will be irretrievably destroyed
*
Yes I agree
An Additional Bus Route through the development is totally unwanted
*
Yes I agree
The idea of a Bus Gate into Howard Drive is totally unacceptable
*
Yes I agree
As a caring and sensitive to public opinion developer that likes work with the local residents rather than against them I would like to see the donating of Ancient Woodland as Public Space
*
Yes I agree
Tree Buffer Zones - I would like to ensure that each tree is protected, ie 'Buffer Zone measured and assessed on largest tree for maximum Root Protection Area (RPA)'
*
Yes I agree
I agree with Local Cllr's comments throughout the borough that the developer and their agents are acting in a Greedy and Arrogant way and utterly without Scruple?
*
Yes I do
I am very concerned about the impact on health due to air pollution that increased traffic from this site will generate
*
Yes I agree
As a local resident I will always continue to promote the refusal of any such development on this land
*
Yes I agree
