Update 09/06/2016: following all your tremendous efforts we are pleased to inform you that we received over 200 replies from local residents. These were all immediately transmitted via email to the Croudace MD as they were sent by yourselves, but as a belt and braces approach a hardcopy was printed and sent first class post today to arrive on Allan Carey's desk tomorrow morning. We are all expecting a reply aren't we.... Watch this space? We sent an update letter out on the 24th May and have had a great response from many local residents together with a good turn out at the roadshow held at the Mid Kent Shopping Centre in Allington last weekend. All your support is really appreciated.

I've grown up in allington and regularly use the beautiful bluebell woods since childhood. I'm now 40 and talky dogs and children to the woods at least once a week if not more. It's an outstanding although small very important part of the allington community not to mention am important nature reserve. It's very well loved and used by so many people of the community and would be a crying shame to lose it due to the access road. I sincerely hope the decision is made to keep our small but beautifully formed piece of historic woodland in Allington.
