Today (Friday 21st Nov) is the last day for Maidstone Council to receive objections from the public consultation regarding Land East of Hermitage Lane. AKA Bluebell Wood, Reservoir Field and Carrot Field.
Please make a lasting difference by airing your views to the council, every objection counts if we are to make a difference. You can use our online form which will auto email to MBC planning department immediately.
Thank you to those of you who have so far completed the online forms objecting to Croudaces' planning applications and appeal. We still need more support and urge you all to contact your friends and neighbours and ask them to help save our last remaining greenspace in Allington.

Please help us spread the word to the thousands of residents in Allington (& Barming) who will be forever impacted by the outcome of the planning decision to decide the future of the area known as Land East of Hermitage Lane. (BlueBell Woods, Reservoir Field and Carrot Field)

Planning Applications 14/503735and 14/503786 submitted by Croudace for Land East of Hermitage Lane known as Bluebell Woods and the Reservoir Field.
A big thank you to all who have signed petitions, attended rally’s, demos, sent objections to Naags, the Council, Croudace and Barton Willmore. Your input has been significant in saving ‘Bluebell Wood’ and has proved how important and valuable it is to local residents.
Croudace are appealing the refusal in July and have submitted two new applications for a total of 500 houses with secondary access via Howard Drive.
Full planning applications available online at MBC planning ref's: 14/503735 and 14/503786.
This "apply - reject - appeal - reapply etc" approach by Croudace is standard practice to wear down opposition and 'play the game' with the NPPF and Local Plans.
Naags are currently preparing a detailed submission on both Schemes 2 and 3.
Maidstone Borough Council Scheme 2 Reservoir Field – App No. 14/503735
* 420 Houses including 3 storeys high
* Bus and Emergency route via Howard Drive.
Scheme 3 Hospital Field – App No 14/503786
This proposal is subject to Scheme 2 being approved.
* 80 Houses including 3 storeys high
* Access Rd through Ancient Woodland to Scheme 2
* Pedestrian/Cycle Path through Ancient Woodland
Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council
Access Hermitage Lane – App No 14/03290/OA
MBC are dependent upon Tonbridge and Malling approving main access via Hermitage Lane Objection Deadline 7th November 2014
Both Schemes will result in increased traffic, congestion, pollution, deferred Healthcare appointments, loss of Ancient Woodland, the last Green Space available to local residents and there is no offer of a Country Park
We urge you to object and make a difference to the community you live in.
Write to the Council or complete the online comment form, alternatively collect a form from your nearest Naag member.
